Ambalapuzha Sri Krishna Temple

Built in 800 A.D Ambalapuzha Sri Krishna Temple is one of the significant Vaishanava temple in Kerala. It is considered as the place of Lord Krishna and is dedicated to the deity. It is one of the finest demonstrations of Kerala architecture.The idol of Guruvayoor temple was acquired and kept in this temple by Tipu Sultan in the year 1789.
