Beemapally Mosque

Beemapally mosque is dedicated to a Muslim woman, Syedunnisa Beema Beevi who is said to be a family member of Prophet Mohammed and has been arrived here from Mecca, in order to spread the message of Islam. This mosque is well known for the annual Uroos. People from distinct locations will visit this location in these festival days irrespective of their caste and belief. The carnival lasts for ten days, which is held at the start of Jama dual Akbar of the Hijra year. This sacred place enjoys connectivity from all parts Kerala and is located near to both Thiruvananthapuram railway station and airport.
