Chottanikkara Bhagawathy Temple

Chottanikkara Bhagawathy Temple is one among the most well known temples of Kerala and is about 8 KM away from Thripoonithura, which is near to Cochin. The place is heaven for mentally disturbed persons who are brought for their cure at this place. The Goddess Rajarajeswari or Adiparasakthi or Durga Bhagavathy - the mother Goddess, is the presiding deity of the temple. The 'Devi' in the temple is famous for the healing powers, especially relating to mental problems and disorders.
