Nainar Masjid

Nainar Mosque is located in Karikodu in Idukki district of Kerala. Minor Mosque is the biggest and the oldest mosque of Idukki. The mosque is visited by both the Hindu and Muslim belief, it is a true demonstration of brotherhood. The mosque is dedicated to Vavaru Swami accepted to be a friend of Lord Ayyappa. The mosque is located beside the Bhagvathy Temple and is believed that the mosque was built at the identical time as this temple was constructed.

The present structure is attractive recent building, though quite a few things do remind of its past.
