Sri Ananthapadmanabha Swamy Temple

Sri Ananthapadmanabha Swamy Temple dedicated to Lord Mahavishnu is one of the famous temples of Kerala. The temple is renowned as the moolasthanam, the initial source, of the Sri Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple of Thiruvananthapuram. The temple with panoramic scene with varieties of rambling hillocks on the backdrop adds to the beauty of this place.The idols of the temple are combination of more than 40 pieces known as kadu sarkara yogam. Today this combination is renowned to only handful of artisans.
