St. Peter and St. Paul's Church, Parumala

St. Peter's and St. Paul's Orthodox Church is one of the most well known places of worship in Kerala. Located in Parumala on the shores of the river Pampa  this place visited by devotees and followers of Saint Gregorios of Parumala who is popularly known as ‘Parumala Thirumeni’, the first Canonized Indian Saint, who died on November 2nd 1902.

Those who visit Parumala church can halt at the Perumthenaruvi waterfall on the banks of pamba river is a well liked picnic location and attracts thousands of visitors. It is only 10 kms away from Erumeli.
